Aspa in Athens
Why would you choose to stay in Aspa in Athens?

Experience an Athenian safe neighborhood in the center of the city.

Sleep at night or early in the morning after you have fun all night downtown.

Walking distance to: Archeological museum, Lycabettous hill, Exarchia, Kolonaki, Pedion Areos.

Eight minutes away from Ampelokipi station (blue line metro) to/from airport and to/from Pireaus port.

Plenty to do in the neighborhood without the hassle of the downtown crowds such as:
– Watch a movie in the open movie theaters near by (Panathenea or Dexameni )
– Try the Lycabettous Teleferik (cable car) that takes you to the top of the hill. This is a 15 min walk.
– Learn to work the marble like ancient Greeks did in George’s Sculpting workshop located just around the corner https://www.facebook.com/marblesculptingworkshop/
– Visit the art galleries in our neighborhood: https://vs-gallery.com/, https://athens-printmaking.com/, https://art-tounta.gr/,
– While in Tounta gallery try brunch or dinner in their restaurant: https://48urbangarden.gr/en. The building, an old glass factory abandoned for a long time has been renovated beautifully and will bring you back in time while enjoying your meal.
– Try mom’s cooking in a restaurant or tavern nearby. Typically they are populated by Greek costumers, a sign food is good. Some suggestions: Alexandra, Texas (food is exposed in a window to peruse the variety), Racoon (meze plates), Taverna Pinaleon, Panormou gevseis. For souvlaki we like the little neighborhood place by PAO soccer field, “to kalamaki tou Hasapi” (Armatolon ke Klefton street No 54)
